在七月三日(一)終於可以再一次舉辦聯校畢業禮,當天中、小、幼的畢業生一同齊集沙田大會堂,家長也有到場參與,場面熱鬧又愉快。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The joint school Graduation ceremony was finally held on Monday, 3rd July 2023 again. All the secondary, primary and kindergarten students gathered at Shatin City Hall. Lost of guests and parents came to join this event, it was boisterous. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

七月四日(二)是「蒸煮」數學日(STEAM DAY)。 ‘Steam’這一詞可解作為用蒸的形式將食物煮熟。事實上,這是首字母縮略詞,即S(Science)科學;T(Technology)科技;E(Engineering)工程;A(Arts)藝術;M(Mathematics)數學。當天學校安排了不同的活動,希望同學將科學、技術、工程、藝術和數學融合,以培養學生的創造力、解決問題能力、慎思明辨能力和合作精神。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
On Tuesday, 4th July 2023, it was the STEAM Day. ‘Steam’ means to cook food using steam (hot gas), so we used this meaning as gimmick to attract people attention. Indeed, STEAM is the acronym of of Science, Teachnology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Lots of science acitivites were arranged which could enhance students about the integration of all these elements. It could cultivate students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, critical thinking and collaboration. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
之後的日子,活動主任及老師安排了不同的活動,真正擁有他們的試後活動,包括有體操、摺紙、卡通漫畫、雜耍、芬蘭木棋、運動桌遊、和諧粉彩、彩虹書法、象棋、圍棋、剪紙、麵粉公仔、Cup Song、紮染、水拓畫、傷健體驗、劍撃、攻防箭、劍球、簡易日語、手繩製作、草地滾球、地月日儀製作、足毽、Upcycling、再生玩具、動物講座、氣排球、建築師工作坊、環保工作坊、書法、躲避盤、視聽障體驗、傷健共融講座、襪偶工作坊、森林小偵探、故事爸媽、運動健康講座、奧林匹克講座、玩具工作坊、爵士舞、徽章DIY等,可算包羅萬有。其中最受同學歡迎的,一定是七月七日(星期五)三至六年級的外出活動,三、四年級到屯門市中心的戲院,欣賞電影「元素大都會」,同學們十分高興,大家都全神貫注的欣賞,回校後更舉行了有關戲內的價值教育講座,回應電影中的內容,讓學生真正明白戲中所帶出的含意。五年級的同學前往參觀天際100及乘坐雙層敞篷觀光巴士遊覽九龍。我跟三、四年級看畢電影後,即趕住往天際100的出口,等候五年級的同學,他們一看到我十分高興,不斷與我分享當日的行程。探過五年級同學,我又趕往大館,與六年級同學會合,我們安排了六年級同學作港島一日遊,首先到尖沙咀的香港藝術館,之後到紅磡吃點心。午膳後前往港島中環大館參觀,最後一站是乘搭山頂纜車到太平山遊覽。我在大館給大家一個驚喜,同學們不停要求與我合照,可惜找不到時間及地點拍大合照,我走到他們登上纜車站的對面,與他們遠距離拍照,十分有趣。希望大家在畢業前有一個難忘的經歷。

In July, our ECA senior Teacher Mr. Lau and the team members in ECA tried their best to arrange various activities for students and let them embrace their post-exam activities which include gymnastic, origami, Cartoons drawing, Juggling, Finnish Wooden Chess, Sports Board Games, Harmony Pastels, Rainbow Calligraphy, Chess, Go, Paper Cutting, Flour Dolls, Cup Song, Tie-Dye, Water Painting, Handicap Experience, Sword Strike, Attack and Defense Arrows, Swords Ball, Simple Japanese, Hand rope making, Lawn bowls, Earth moon and sun instrument making, Shuttlecock, Upcycling, Recycling toys, Animal lectures, Air volleyball, Architect workshop, Environmental protection workshop, Calligraphy, Dodging discs, Experience for hearing impaired , Lectures on Inclusiveness of the Disabled, Sock Puppet Workshop, Little Forest Detective, Story Parents, Sports and Health Lectures, Olympic Lectures, Toy Workshop, Jazz Dance, Badge DIY, etc that is all-inclusive. The most favourite activity must be on Friday, 7th July 2023. P.3 and P.4 students went to the cinema in Tuen Mun Town Centre – StagE to watch ‘Elemental’/ They were so excited and foused to watch the movie. After watching the movie, they had a talk abour value education at school to consolidated what they learnt from the movie. It was a good to let students understand the true meaning of the movie. P.5 students went to Sky 100 to watch from the tallest building in Hong Kong. Before, they took the Double Deck bus to have sightseeing in Kowloon. I was waiting for all the P.5 students at the exit of Sky 100. They screamed a lot when they saw me. They kept on sharing about what they had watched and encountered. I went to ‘Tai Kwun’ in the afternoon to meet the P.6 students. Actually, they had a local tour on that day. First, they went to Hong Kong Museum of Art, then they went to Hung Hom to have Dim Sum for lunch. They set off to ‘Tai Kwun’ in the after and I met them there. They were so surprised to see me and kept on asking me to take pictures with them. I took the school bus to go to the Peak Tram Station. I wanted to take group photo with them but time was not allowed. They went in the Peak Tram Station to take the tram. I ran to the other side of the tram station and took several pictures with them instead of the group photos. It was so funny. I wish to give everyone an unforgettable experience before they graduate. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
七月十日(一)是畢業禮及頒獎禮,當天很多家長出席參與,畢業生穿上畢業袍,令畢業氣氛更濃厚,有些家長帶備花束,畢業公仔,大家都投入其中。在一起唱畢業主題曲及看着畢業生成長的片段,有些報以笑聲,有些保持沉默,有些熱淚凝眶,令大家回味無窮。典禮完結後,大家也到學校不同的位置影相留念。畢業生家長及畢業生也找老師們拍照留念。我十分感動,很多家長親自前來找我,多謝我這些年為他們子女所付出的努力照。這些的鼓勵說話最寶貴,會令我堅強地繼續向前走。多謝大家的支持和鼓勵。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Graduation ceremony and prize presentation was held on Monday, 10th July 2023. On that day, parents came to participate. All the P.6 students wore the gowns and made the atmosphere become serious but joyful. Some parents brought bunches of flowers and dolls to make everyone more engaged. All the P.6 students sang songs together and watched the pictures about what they had done from P.1 to P.6. Some of them were laughing, some were keeping silent and some were rimming with tears. As all these pictures really recalled their good memories in LTY. After the ceremony, students and parents found different places and teachers to take pictures with. It was touched. Some parents came to find me out to thank what I had done for LTY and their children. All these encouragements were precious which make me move on. 七月十一日(二)早上8:30,六年級學生回校領取派位成績,家長被安排到禮堂,聽校長講解放榜流程及註冊的情況。當小朋友放榜成績與家長分享,有尖叫、有大笑、也有哭。幸好大家也控制自己。P.6學生終於畢業了。今年放榜成績比上年有點進步,畢業生派往以下中學: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The SSPA result was announced on Tuesday, 11th July 2023. At 8:30 in the morning, all the P.6 students came back to school and went back to their own classroom to get the result. Parents went into the school hall to know the flow of registration, they were so nervous. When their children came down to meet them, some screamed, some laughed and some cried. Fortunately, all of them could control themselves well. P.6 students finally graduated and the result was better them last year. 七月十二日(星期三)下午,我們所有的音樂老師及四、五年級一行十五人到香港中央圖書館演講廳,參加「在職小學音科教師粵劇教學培訓」先導計劃學與教體驗分享會。多謝劉翠茵主任及麥寶倫主任的分享,得到多位專業人員肯定。另外,學生的表演也得到現場人士的熱烈歡呼及鼓掌。最後,有著名粵劇老倌阮兆輝教授示範南音,加上他的解說,令大家加深認識,他的南音表演很細膩,一絲不苟,嗓子響亮,真的繞樑三日。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
All the music teacher and about 15 P.4 and P.5 students went to the Lecture Theatre at Hong Kong Central Library for doing the presentation. As we participated a pilot scheme called Chinese Opera Pedagogical Training for in-service music teachers in primary schools. Ms. Dora Lau and Ms. Joanna Mak did the sharing and lots of experts gave positive feedback with high complement. When our students preformed Chinese Opera instruments, all the audiences gave a round applause to them. Finally, a famous Chinese Opera artist Professor Yuen Siu Fai, Franco to demonstrate how to sing ‘Nanyin’ with his explanation. It made us understand more. His performance was so exquisite and his voice was touching which lingerd in our mind for a period of time. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
我們部分小四至小六的同學在本年度參加了學校演藝實踐計劃「經典之旅:從課本到戲劇V」戲劇實踐計劃。他們花了一年時間學習及練習。在本月已經在學校內舉行了兩場公演,大家都十分喜歡。在7月21日(五)更到荃灣大會堂表演,他們可以踏上舞台表演,令他們真的感受一下真正表演的心情,他們的表演令人驚嘆,他們都沒有表現緊張,只是在如常表現自己。難得!學校已經多年引入戲劇教育在課堂上,同學的表達能力也進步不少。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

放榜後,差不多每天也有六年級學生回校探望老師,他們真的捨不得了,十分熱情,但七月十四(五)是本學年最後一個上課天,大家要到九月一日(五)新的學年再相見。祝大家有一個愉快又有意義的暑假。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After the SSPA result was released, some P.6 students came back to school everyday to visit teachers and helped them do some tasks. They have started missing the school. On Friday, 14th July 2023, it was the last school day in this academic year. We need to wait until Friday, 1st September 2023 and we can meet again.
